The Q&A section in your Virtual Data Room makes it easy to ask, view, and manage questions during a project. Here’s how to access and use it.

💡 Tip: If you don’t see the Q&A tab or can’t ask questions, contact your Data Room Administrator to check your permissions.

1️⃣ Accessing Q&A

As a consumer user, you can open the Q&A by clicking “Q&A” in the top right-hand corner of your screen.

📝 You’ll only see the Q&A option if:

• ✅ The feature has been enabled by the Data Room Administrator
• 👥 You’ve been added to a bidder group that can view questions

2️⃣ Viewing Your Questions

Once opened, you’ll see all questions that are assigned to your group.

• Click on any question to view its details and answers.
• If your user account has permission to ask questions, you’ll see an “Ask Question” button in the top left corner.

3️⃣ Understanding Question Details

When you click on a question, you can view:

• 📅 When it was posted
• 💬 Any replies or answers
• 🔓 Whether the question is still open or has been closed

4️⃣ Asking a Question

If you have “Ask” permissions, you can create a new question directly on this screen.

• Click “Ask Question”
• Choose the appropriate category before submitting your query

5️⃣ Exporting or Printing

Need a record of your Q&A?

You can easily 📤 export or 🖨️ print questions using the buttons in the top left corner of the Q&A page.

Adding Questions in full view

• When you have a document open in the browser, you can ask questions relating to the document itself.
• You can also view questions that are related to the document while you are in the browser view by clicking on " Questions "

1. Click on " Questions " in the bottom left corner.

2. Click 'Add question '
3. Fill out your question in the textbox, then submit by clicking on ' Add question ' again

4. All questions that are relating to this document will now be displayed on the left pane, you can click each question to see any replies that have been received.
5. You can also jump to the Q&A section by clicking on ' View in Q&A '

Q&A can also be accessed on the detailed view by clicking the " + " button to add a new question
