How to Customise your Dashboard

When users log in (especially if they belong to just one site), they’ll land on the site dashboard — a central hub you can customize to guide and inform users.

As a Site Manager, you can tailor this dashboard to:

  • Highlight key pages
  • Display recent activity
  • Show site statistics and content summaries
  • Add helpful tools or instructions for data rooms

🛠️ How to Customize the Dashboard

  1. Go to the Dashboard view
  2. Click the Settings (⚙️) icon (top right)
  3. Select Customize Dashboard

🧱 Dashboard Layouts & Dashlets

Once in the customization screen, you can:

🧩 Change Layout

  • Click Change Layout to select a dashboard structure that suits your site

Add Dashlets (Widgets)

  • Click Add Dashlets to open the available list
  • Drag and drop your desired dashlets into columns
  • 🗑️ Drag unwanted dashlets to the trash icon
  • Click OK to save

Here are some of the most useful dashlets you can add:

  • 📁 Document Library – View top-level folders and files
  • 🕒 Site Activities – Track uploads, questions, and more
  • 🔍 Site Search / Saved Search – Search or auto-display results
  • 👥 Site Members – See who’s on the site and their roles
  • 📊 File Type Breakdown – Pie chart of uploaded file types
  • 📈 Contributor Breakdown – See who’s uploading and how much
  • 📅 Site Calendar – Add shared events
  • 📰 Site Blog – Show or post blog entries
  • 📎 Site Links – Curated web links for the site
  • 📣 Site Notice – Fully customizable content box with HTML

(Add videos, logos, maps, or welcome text. Need help? Email us)

📌 Tip: Use the dashboard to give users a smoother, faster start by surfacing exactly what they need — without them having to dig for it.
