#### 🪄 Step 5: Configure AI Redaction

A popup window will appear with the following options:

* **Presets**: Choose types of data to redact (e.g., 📧 Email, ☎️ Phone, 🏠 Address)
* **Regex text to redact/Free Text:** Enter custom keywords or phrases to redact
* **Ignore Whitelist**: Input words you want to ignore (not redact)
* Press **Redact button** and files will be processed
* You can close the progress bar pop-up, and **refresh your page** to see the files that have been redacted

* Enable **Prepare Mode** if you'd like to bulk-mark redactions first ( ❤️ strongly advise you do this, its the most efficient process)
* The system will **highlight matching content** across all selected files without applying redaction yet

#### ✂️ Step 6: Review & Apply

After you click the redact button on the pop up, the files will be sent for redaction and a progress bar will display, work on other stuff until it's done.
Then refresh your page and you will now see documents marked as " prepared redact "

1. Click on a **"Prepared - Redact"** file to open it in the **secure viewer**
2. In the secure viewer, click the red **Redact** button (top right)
3. Review the suggested redactions:
* ✅ Click **Apply** to confirm
* ✏️ You can **edit, remove, or add** redactions manually
4. Move on to the next file and repeat the process

| Tip: This review workflow allows you to efficiently finalize redactions across multiple documents with speed and control.

This is still beta, so test it out on document copies, and don't run it on a running data room - do it in the preparation stage!
