First Time Logging In?

|| If you are logging in for the first time, check to see if you have previously received an email invite containing your login details. There will be a unique link contained in the email which you can use to login and reset your password.

❌ Can’t Log In?

All future visits to the data room are done via the login page, which will be: https://DataRoomName.projectfusion.com, where DataRoomName will be the Projectfusion instance you are logging into (e.g. AcmeInc.projectfusion.com).

How to Send Files Using safedrop

Sending secure files with safedrop is quick and compliant. Here’s how it works, from login to delivery. Watch the video ${vimeo}here.

🟠 Step 1: Log In and Start a safedrop

After logging in, you’ll land on the safedrop compose page.

📎 Step 2: Add Your Files

You have two options:

Drag and drop files into the drop zone, or
Click the orange “+” icon to browse and select files from your device.

✍️ Step 3: Add a Subject and Message (Optional)

Add a subject line and a message for your recipient.
If you want more privacy, you can encrypt the message, so it's only visible once the recipient is verified and has accessed the safedrop. || Note: These fields are optional — you can still send files without them.

👥 Step 4: Add Recipients

Enter one or more email addresses. Separate multiple addresses with commas or add them one by one, hitting Enter after each.

You can also choose "Don’t specify recipients" — this creates a link you can share manually.

📤 Step 5: Choose How the safedrop Will Be Sent

You have two choices:

Option 1 – Automatically send everyone an email safedrop will email recipients a secure link.

Option 2 – I will send them the link myself safedrop gives you a link to copy and paste into your own message.
Best for bypassing spam filters — especially with clients or legal teams.

Getting Started with Redaction

Redact multiple documents at once using our powerful AI Hybrid redaction tool. Here's how:

Documents must be OCR-optimised & UTF-8 or English character sets
Maximum 90 documents per bulk redaction
currently supports only pdf, xls,xlsx,doc,docx,ppt and pptx

📁 Step 1: Upload Your Files

Upload the files you want to redact.

Supported formats: PDF and Word (.docx)
Files must be OCR-optimised (i.e., searchable text)

⚙️ Step 2: Enable Redaction

Click the Settings icon (top right corner)
Select Edit Site Details
Enable the following features:

✅ Indexing
✅ Redaction

Click Save Changes

Q&A Setup Guide (Manager Access Only)

As a Manager, you can manage bidder questions directly in the data room: ✅ Reply to questions ✅ Change status ✅ Tag & attach files ✅ Mark as FAQ ✅ Edit or delete

🔧 Enabling Q&A

If Q&A is not already enabled in your site, you will need to add it into the current site pages.

Click the gear icon (⚙️) → Customize Site.
Drag Q&A from "Available site pages" to "Current site pages".
Click " OK " to save changes.
To navigate to the Q&A page, simply click on the ‘Q&A’ tab, now visible to managers and members of bidder groups.
Once here as Admin/Manager, you will need to set up the bidder groups and Q&A admins so begin by clicking ‘Configure’

Now click on on the left side of your screen " QA Admins " , this will then populate " Members QA Admins " on the right side of your screen.****
Use the 👤 icon in the members box to search and add yourself and other admins

📤 Uploading Files

✅ 1. Drag & Drop (Easiest Method)

Go to the Document Library within your data room.
From your local computer, drag one or more files or folders directly into the browser window.
A prompt will appear—click OK to confirm and begin the upload. Note:

Dragging a folder will also include subfolders and files.
Avoid using special characters in file/folder names: ? ” * < > ? / : |

⬆️ 2. Upload Button (For Unsupported Browsers)

Navigate to the Document Library.
Click the Upload button at the top of the page.
Select the magnifying glass icon and browse to the file(s) on your device.
Click Upload, then click OK when done.
Repeat as necessary for additional uploads.

⚙️ 3. Bulk Upload Using GoodSync (Advanced)

For uploading large batches of files or automating uploads.

Pre-Setup Checklist:

Download GoodSync (Free: 3 jobs/100 files, or Pro: for 5 devices).
Create a Contributor user in your site (avoid using Managers for uploads to reduce risk).
Recommended: limit to 2 upload threads and 100KB/sec.
